My role as Birth Doula is to help you and your partner work through fears and self-doubt. I will be by your side from the moment your contractions begin until your baby is born; you will never be alone during labor. I will serve as a guide to light your path, because it is you—and your own strength—that will make it happen.
During labor, providing continuous support, including encouragement, reassurance, soothing with touch through the use of massage with handmade organic infused oils and Acupressure applying firm manual pressure—using fingers, thumbs, or palms—to specific points on the body. It targets the same key energy points as acupuncture, but without using needles, to relieve pain, release muscle tension.
Suggesting techniques in labor such as breathing, vocalization, relaxation, positioning.
Labor Doula Care includes:
- 1 or 2 prenatal meetings.
- On call from week 38th until birth.
- Continuous labor support, from early labor through the birth of your baby.
- 1 postpartum visit.
Labor Doula Care: $1300.
* Childbirth Education Class is not included and is widely recommended during Pregnancy.
