Birth Doula Care

My role as your birth doula is to help you and your partner work through fears and self-doubt, stepping into your birth experience with confidence. I will serve as a guide to light your path, because it is you—and your own inner strength—that will make this happen.

You will never be alone during labor. I will be by your side from the moment your active contractions begin until your baby is safely in your arms.

Holistic Comfort Measures & Labor Support

During labor, I provide continuous physical and emotional care tailored entirely to your needs, including:

• Organic Oil Massage: Soothing touch and physical reassurance using handmade, organic, herb-infused oils.
• Acupressure for Pain Relief: Applying firm, manual pressure to specific key energy points on the body (without needles) to help relieve labor pain and release deep muscle tension.
• Active Labor Techniques: Proactively suggesting breathing exercises, vocalization, relaxation practices, and optimal labor positioning to keep your labor progressing smoothly.

What is Included in Birth Doula Care

• 1 to 2 Prenatal Meetings: To discuss your birth preferences, address fears, build your team dynamic, and prepare your mindset.
• 24/7 On-Call Support: I am fully on call for you starting from week 38 until your baby is born.
• Continuous Labor Support: Uninterrupted presence at your side from early labor through the entire birth of your baby.
• 1 Postpartum Visit: A gentle follow-up in the comfort of your home to review your birth story, check on your well-being, and ease your transition into parenthood.

*Please note: Childbirth Education Classes are not included in this package and are highly recommended during pregnancy to fully prepare your mind and body.

Community Birth Support Slots

Every family deserves a supported birth, regardless of their financial situation. I proudly reserve a limited number of sliding-scale, reduced-rate slots each year specifically for low-income and Medicaid-eligible families in Miami-Dade.

These slots are offered on a trust-based system with no complicated paperwork. If you are worried about the cost of doula support, please reach out so we can discuss a rate or payment plan that honors your budget.
